Dr Hernandez is a 1990 graduate of Mt Juliet High School. After graduation, he served 4 years in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. Upon returning to Tennessee, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee at Martin, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. While in California, Dr Hernandez was involved with numerous local and international dental volunteer projects, earning him a 2005 Humanitarian award. To his credit, he continues to volunteer his time and skills providing comprehensive dental care to underprivileged people throughout the world.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr Hernandez has worked as a solo practitioner in Macomb, Illinois and an associate in Mt Juliet, Tennessee. With a passion for aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Hernandez has obtained his Invisalign® certification and has completed advanced courses in veneer preparation and placement. For those patients with the desire, he offers metal-free fillings and crowns resulting in dentistry that is not only long lasting but also invisible.
